PENNSYLVANIA * * * * * * * IMPORTANT NOTICE JUDGE HAMILTON ESTABLISHES OCTOBER 12, 2006 On November 4, 2005, upon joint motion of Class Counsel and counsel for AT&T, Judge David F. Hamilton entered an order approving the Certain Pennsylvania "Telecommunication Cable"/Railroad Corridor Class Settlement Court Notice which establishes October 12, 2006 as the deadline for the filing claims for Current Landowner Benefits and Prior Landowner Benefits. Claim Forms must be postmarked by October 12, 2006, in order to be deemed to be within this deadline. CERTAIN PENNSYLVANIA On November 4, 2005, in Taylor, et al v. AT&T Corp. et al (No. 1:00-cv-0472-DFH-TAB), United States District Judge David F. Hamilton (the "Court") conditionally approved a Pennsylvania "telecommunication cable"/railroad corridor settlement class, consisting, generally speaking, of the current (and certain past) owners of land underlying or adjacent to twenty (20) railroad corridors in Pennsylvania. The corridors are or were used to provide railway service along: Harrisburg to Pittsburgh, Philadelphia to Washington, DC, Wayne to Lanark(Conrail), Wayne to Lanark (Amtrak), Harrisburg to York, Erie to Cleveland, Buffalo to Erie, Roaring Creek to Harrisburg (Sunbury to Harrisburg Section) (Conrail), Roaring Creek to Harrisburg (Sunbury to Harrisburg Section) (Amtrak), Pittsburgh to Youngstown, Pittsburgh FT3W - New Castle P.O.P, Wayne to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to New York, Philadelphia to New York (New Brunswick to Philadelphia Section), Roaring Creek to Harrisburg (Roaring Creek - Sunbury Section), Pittsburgh to Parkersburg, Fairless Hills Branch 1 & 2, Binghamton to Scranton-Roaring Creek (Lackawana Valley), Binghamton to Scranton-Roaring Creek (Delaware & Hudson (Morgan)), and Newark Jct. to Philadelphia. The Court has preliminarily approved the settlement as fair, adequate, and reasonable for the Settlement Class, but the Court will conduct a hearing to make a final determination whether the Settlement is fair, adequate, and reasonable and should be finally approved. This home page provides some basic settlement information and copies of important documents for persons who know they are, or think they might be, members of this Settlement Class. The settlement terms and the options a potential class member and claimant has are explained in the Court Notice. Please Note the Following Important Dates: Deadline to Comment, Object, or Opt Out: July 27, 2006 Fairness Hearing: United States District Court If NO objections or requests to appear and be heard have been received from any Class Members by July 27, 2006, the Court will instead hold the fairness hearing at 4:00 p.m. on September 18, 2006 at the following location: Courtroom of Judge David F.
